Portfolio

Take a look at some of the websites I’ve designed. Specialising in author websites, I spend time with each client getting to know their requirements, but what I hear most is that people want a clean, easy to navigate site, where their books do the talking.

Shalini Boland

Multi-million copy bestseller Shalini Boland was still using an old Blogger site when she booked a consultation. With a fairly tight turnaround, we created a bold, simplistic website in WordPress to showcase her 20+ thrillers and YA novels.

Blue Pier Creative

Run by authors Daisy White and Lisa Brace, Blue Pier Creative is split into three sections: Blue Pier Books, an independent publisher; Blue Pier Consultancy, which provides mentoring for writers; and Blue Pier Retreats, hosting events for writers across the UK. This website was also built in WordPress.

Alex Walters

Alex Walters is another prolific author with an impressive backlist, spread across several series and standalones. He wanted an upgrade to his old Wix site, transferring over to WordPress, that he could update himself with ease.

Sophie Keetch

Sophie Keetch didn’t have a website before our consultation. Like many authors, the idea of creating a website can be overwhelming. This simple WordPress site showcases her two beautiful historical novels, and will be updated once the third book is released.

Julia Raeside

Julia Raeside’s debut novel will be published in February 2025, and so she wanted a simple, clean website to show off her beautiful book. This website was built in WordPress as a single scrollable page.

Rona Halsall

Rona Halsall is a bestselling author of psychological thrillers, with 13 books published so far, as well as several translations. She wanted to move to Canva for a slick, bold website that’s easy to maintain.

While Canva does have more restrictions than other platforms, I always enjoy working in it.

Karen King

Karen King writes psychological thrillers and women’s fiction, and so she wanted separate pages to show off her books in each genre. She also runs a popular blog which includes Friday Reads and author interviews.

She was looking for an uncluttered, easy to navigate website, and was already familiar with WordPress.

Stephen Cox

Stephen Cox wanted something a bit more complicated – the facility to sell signed copies of his books, with personalisation options too. Building in WordPress allowed for a shop, as well as multiple pages showcasing his books, services, and blog.
