
Sponsored by Arts Council England, ALCS, the Drusilla Harvey Memorial Fund, and the Professional Writing Academy, the Authors with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses (ADCI) Literary Prize is awarded to a disabled or chronically ill writer for an outstanding novel containing a disabled or chronically ill character or characters.
Alongside Tom Newland’s Only Here, Only Now, The Darkest Night came in second place to Helen Heckety’s Alter Ego. Huge thanks to the judges, and a massive congratulations to all of the winners and runners-up of these fantastic prizes!
